A Bit About Us

7th Hat has weathered economic roller-coaster in north Houston for over 20 years by staying flexible, reliable, creative, and just that good.  As the trends have shifted from print to online marketing, we’ve stayed current and skilled on the latest social media trends, web technology, and marketing techniques. We even try to keep up with consumer passions so we can deliver our knowledge to you.

A bit about us

Simply put, we take the creative marketing projects off your shoulders so you can do what you do to make money.

Creating Design and Relationships

We’ve evolved from a purely design group a full-service creative marketing company that can respond quickly to all your needs. Our clients pushed us to expand our skill-sets, because they needed us in other areas, and we happily complied. Today, we offer a full range of print and online marketing services, including logo design, company messaging, social media campaigns, and fully responsive website design with content writing.

Thinking Caps

Wearing All Six Thinking Hats

Our name comes from a breakthrough creative thinking methodology developed by Edward DeBono. As 7th Hat, we wear, at any given time, all of DeBono’s Six Thinking Hats:

1. White Hat: “The facts, just the facts.”
2. Yellow Hat: explores the positives and probe for value and benefit.
3. Black Hat: looks for difficulties and dangers; where things might go wrong, and can be a problem if overused.
4. Red Hat: expresses emotions and feelings and share fears, likes, dislikes, loves, and hates.
5. Green Hat: focuses on creativity, possibilities, alternatives, and new ideas
6. Blue Hat: manage and oversees the thinking process

Diverse client base

We work with clients of every size, in a wide variety of industries, including private business, manufacturing, oil & gas, medical, retail, nonprofit, healthcare, and more. While we’re based in north Houston, our clients are nationwide, and include technology and financial start-ups, growing churches, real estate management and development firms, and neighborhood restaurants.
